  • French Fries will now produce as Valentino Mora with the start of his new label, IDO. Mora has been making music since 2010, establishing himself as a core member of Paris's ClekClekBoom crew. He's been silent through 2016, and now he's announcing the end of French Fries and the beginning of a new project under his given name. It coincides with the launch of his new label (co-founded with Amila), International Dance Organization, which a press release says takes influence from "the early New York and Italian house scenes," with the "flamboyancy of the beginnings of house music... on display with every release through various shades of percussion, breaks and techno." ("Ido" is also Japanese for "movement.") The label claims to focus on the "human spirit" as opposed to the technological bent of Mora's earlier music. Body Nostalgia, IDO's first release, is reportedly an "exploration of both Tokyo and Berlin's ever-burgeoning electronic music culture." You can listen to clips of both tracks. Mora will also make his debut at Panorama Bar the week of release.
Tracklist A Body Nostalgia (Erogenous Extended Dub) B Steamroom (6AM Exaltation Mix) IDO will release Body Nostalgia on June 23rd, 2016.
