She has eight gigs scheduled over ten days, starting next week.
Next week Lena Willikens will head out on a tour of North America.
The adventurous German DJ, a resident at Düsseldorf club Salon Des Amateurs and a Cómeme label affiliate, is booked for eight appearances over a span of just ten days, making this her most extensive stateside tour to date. Toronto's Work in Progress is up first next Thursday the 30th, followed by Chicago's smartbar that Friday, where New York techno favorite Anthony Parasole is also confirmed.
Willikens will be in New York next Saturday for a pair of gigs: Warm Up at MoMA PS1 (whose program also includes Terrence Dixon and DJ Stingray), and Mutual Dreaming (Rrose is billed at this one, too). The following Sunday sees her hit the decks at Piknic Électronik in Montreal.
Women's Beat League in Portland will host Willikens at the S1 art gallery on Thursday, July 7th—Boston acid purveyor Isabella, who's contributing to a forthcoming split EP on Börft, will also be in town for the occasion. Over the next two nights, the tour is set to swing through LA, for States of Being, and lastly Seattle, where Willikens will play TUFFEST's afterparty.

Tickets to the events in Chicago and New York (Mutual Dreaming) are available on RA.
