- The seven-track Mugako CD-R is scheduled for a late-August release.
Spanish producer Jose Cabrera, AKA J.C., has connected with Semantica for an album called Mugako.
Cabrera will be the fifth contributor to Semantica's CD-R album series Exhibition Design, which has featured Material Object, Imugen Orihasam, Mod21 and Go Hiyama over the past few years. After putting out tracks and remixes on the likes of Soul People Music (home to his 2015 album Portrait Of The Flying Sky), Symbolism and Tresor—while also running his own Cabrera and J.C. imprints (the latter an offshoot of A Harmless Deed he operates with Damian Schwartz)—Mugako will mark his debut on Svreca's label. The seven-track album will come on CD and digital formats, and as usual for Exhibition Design, Trudy Creen, an illustrator based near Belfast, has taken care of its artwork.
