Myth Festival, a new event in Chicago, is set to take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 18th and 19th.
Describing itself as "Chicago's only underground music festival," Myth will feature two stages of indoor and outdoor action across its two days, each running from 11 AM to midnight. Huxley, Waze & Odyssey and Jonas Rathsman count among the weekend's headliners, along with Heartthrob and Detroit vets Terrence Dixon and Eddie Fowlkes. Mike Gervais and Project 313, representing Minneapolis and Detroit, respectively, are also on the lineup.
The Chicago contingent includes headliner Tyree Cooper, DJ Heather, Hieroglyphic Being, Argot Soundsystem (Steve Mizek and Savile) and Derek Specs, whose Gold Coast club Primary is one of the festival's sponsors.
Myth will happen on the North Side at 4626 N. Knox Avenue—further venue details are still TBA.
