  • Sistrum Recordings will release Genesis Tracks Vol. 2 soon. The various artists release is the follow-up to a 2015 four-tracker that included contributions from Marco Zenker and Modular One. For the new one, Sistrum boss Patrice Scott provides the lead-off, a cut called "Seasons Change" that the press release says contains vintage strings and tinkling jazz keys. Scott's also managed to land tracks from a couple of well-respected Detroit house producers who have moved down south to Atlanta, Reggie Dokes and NDATL Music boss Kai Alce. Detroit-turned-Berlin artist Eric Cloutier provides a tune called "Gossamer" for the EP. It's only the third release Cloutier's appeared on despite a DJ career spanning back twenty years. In 2014, he contributed a track to split on Mosaic, while last year saw him issue his solo debut Raxeira.
