  • A handful of Posh Isolation artists will do a short tour across Canada in early June. The collective, label and record store is one of the chief electronic music communities in Copenhagen as well as Scandinavia as a whole, and a nexus for noise, techno and experimental artists in the region. Starting on June 2nd in Toronto, noise duo Damien Dubrovnik, ambient artist Croatian Amor and techno producer Varg will tour as a unit. The Toronto show will go down at Faith / Void, with the group moving onto Vancouver the night after, where they'll play at VAL, joined by DJs from local crews Isla and Sacred Sound Club. At both shows, one half of Damien Dubrovnik will collaborate live with Varg under the name Empire Line as well. On June 4th, they'll head over to Calgary for the Garbage Daze festival at the Royal Canadian Legion, which has also booked Shifted and Marshstepper. Finally, on June 10th, Damien Dubrovnik will appear at Suoni festival in Montreal. (Lust For Youth, a band which includes Damien Dubrovnik's Loke Rahbek, is also playing at Suoni.) Check out a mix from Varg.
Tickets to the Vancouver show are available on RA.
