- Function & Inland provide a remix, along with an unearthed alternate version of the '90s classic.
NonPlus have revealed the latest record in their Source Direct reissue campaign, due out on June 10th.
Boddika's label started reissuing tracks from the influential drum & bass duo (which is now just the solo project of Jim Baker) last year, pairing them with remixes from Blawan and Demdike Stare. "The Crane," originally released on Source Direct's label in 1996, is one of their most well-known tunes and marks the third in the NonPlus series. This time, Inland and Function have been tapped for remix duties, and they give "The Crane" a techno makeover. The single will be accompanied by a limited single-sided 12-inch featuring an alternate version of "The Crane" found "on an old DAT tape."
