- The Israeli superstar will throw an outdoor party in the city's Chinatown neighborhood.
Guy Gerber will bring his Rumors open-air to Chinatown's Gin Ling Way for a block party on June 11th.
The Israeli-born Gerber kicked off Rumors in Ibiza two years ago, a free beachside event with a focus on extended sets. The sometime-LA resident will use Gin Ling Way, a popular pedestrian walkway in Chinatown, for the June show. It's the first dance party to go down in the plaza. Gerber's brought in Venice, CA-dwelling icon DJ Harvey, who now has an Ibiza residency of his own, for co-headlining duties.
June marks Rumors first LA edition, following pop-up gigs at Art Basel and BPM. Gerber also looks after the label of the same name. Last year, the imprint issued his collaborations with Miss Kittin and Puff Daddy along with 12-inches from Seth Troxler and Clarian.
