John Talabot, Helena Hauff, Red Axes play RA stage at Flow Festival

- We'll host the Helsinki festival's Backyard area for three days this August.
- Resident Advisor is returning to Finland's Flow Festival in 2016, taking over the Backyard for three days. This year the Helsinki festival is running from August 12th through 14th. This is the second time we've partnered with Flow to host the Backyard, a grassy space tucked away in a corner of the festival's home at Suvilahti. On the 12th the international guests are The Black Madonna, Helena Hauff and Roman Flügel, before Kim Ann Foxman, Red Axes (who we recently profiled on RA) and local hero Lil Tony top the bill the following night. Barcelona artist John Talabot will headline the final evening's programme. There will be plenty of Finnish talent on show across the three days, with Kristiina Männikkö, Katerina and Trevor Deep Jr—all of whom are regulars at Helsinki venues like Kaiku, where we'll be taking our In Residence series in July—stepping up to perform at the Backyard alongside Fummer, JL, Sansibar, Noah Kin and Villa Nah. Previously announced acts playing Flow Festival 2016 include New Order, Massive Attack, Iggy Pop, Jamie xx, M83, Four Tet and Hercules & Love Affair.
