The Swedish producer has also announced a string of US dates.
Axel Boman will release a 12-inch called Moon Dancer on Third Try Records on May 31st.
The three-track EP is the first release of 2016 from the Studio Barnhus co-founder. It follows last year's 1979 12-inch for Pampa, which scored high marks with RA's Patric Fallon, who called it "dance music for coming off the emotional high of dance music." Moon Dancer will inaugurate the newly-minted Third Try Records.
The Stockholm resident will also head off on a five-stop US tour following the release. He'll kick things off in Portland, headlining a Mule Musiq showcase on May 13th before heading down to San Francisco to play the well-established As You Like It party at Monarch on the 19th. On the 20th he's in Chicago at smartbar with support from Seattle jock Cody Morrison and Windy City mainstay Sassmouth. Boman will wrap up the trip at a Together Festival show in Boston (with Matthew Dear and J.Phlip) on the 21st and a Sunday gig on the rooftop of Brooklyn club Output.
Tickets to the San Francisco and Chicago gigs are available here on RA.
