  • MUTEK Montreal, taking place from June 1st through 5th, has announced the remainder of its lineup. The 17th edition of the Canadian experimental electronic festival has already outlined a healthy program, with the likes of Galcher Lustwerk, Midnight Operator, Dasha Rush, Terekke, White Visitation and Tim Hecker booked for the week-long festival spread across a few venues in Downtown Montreal. This time, MUTEK has announced the return of Expérience, a series of free-entry open-air parties that take place at the Parterre of the Quartier des Spectacles (pictured at right) from Thursday to Friday, starting at 5 PM and wrapping up at 11 PM each evening. Among the artists booked for that are Machinedrum, Lee Gamble, Nautiluss, Blue Hawaii, Jlin and Peder Mannerfelt. In addition to Expérience, there will be two other special events, with lineups still TBA. On Sunday afternoon, Boiler Room will host an audiovisual event at the Satosphere, while over at Parc Jean-Drapeau, MUTEK will return to Piknic Electronic after skipping it last year. (The lineup for Piknic will be announced May 10, along with the rest of the season).
