- The Strength Music boss will release his second LP in May.
DJ Qu will put out his next full-length, Conjure, via own Strength Music Recordings on May 20th.
A New Jersey native, Qu emerged in the mid-'00s as part of a heady milieu of East Coast producers which includes Jus-Ed and Joey Anderson. The deep house lifer issued his first album, Gymnastics, in 2011. Since then, he's kept up a steady stream of EPs spread across various labels. In 2015, he released four 12-inches, including SS1 for Secretsundaze, a record Ray Philp said retained Qu's "customary dash of strangeness and mystery," in his review for RA.
