Run by DJ/producer Mikaela, the Monday night techno party will span 12 weeks from June 27th.
New Ibiza party ONYX will occupy Monday nights at Space in 2016, running for 12 weeks from June 27th through September 12th.
The residency is the brainchild of Mikaela, a Russian DJ/producer who's been running events in Ibiza since 2014. (She oversaw two parties last summer: Mikaela & Friends and Love The Underground Records.) ONYX will focus on tech house and techno, with the action split between the club's Terrace and Sunset Terrace. The June opening will feature DJ sets from Dave Clarke, Rebekah and Mikaela, alongside live performances from Benjamin Damage and Surgeon, who's teaming up with Lady Starlight.
Other than the closing, which has Fritz Kalkbrenner, Josh Wink and Monika Kruse, the lineups for the remainder of the run are still TBA. They'll be formed from a large pool of confirmed acts that includes DJs like Alan Fitzpatrick, Ben Sims, Dense & Pika, Oxia, Paul Ritch, Karotte, Gary Beck, Harvey Mckay and Dasha Rush. Both Slam and Redshape have been locked in for separate live and DJ sets, while Blawan will go back-to-back with Dasha Rush and join forces with Pariah as Karenn. Live sets will come from Perc, Gaiser and CW/A, AKA Clockwork and Avatism.
