- The London DJ will play gigs throughout the states starting this weekend.
Jane Fitz will tour the US over the next few weeks, including a 27-hour rizumu party in Philadelphia on May 14th.
rizumu has hosted a glut of national and international talent, including many artists playing Philly for the first time. Voices From The Lake, Daniel Bell, Exos, Karl Meier (a recent RA feature subject) and crews like Interdimensional Transmissions, The Bunker and Giegling count among the party's wide-ranging guests over the years.
Next month's 14th anniversary event is actually a two-part affair. It'll kick off at 11 PM at the intimate 52hz, a former kung fu studio that since 2013 has been Rizumu's home base, where Jane Fitz, a London DJ and resident at the beloved Welsh festival Freeroration, and BPMF, AKA veteran producer and live act Jason Szostek (of Prototype 909), will headline. At 8 AM on Sunday, the party will head outside to the Glendinning Rock Garden in Fairmont Park, another favored rizumu venue, where it's due to run all day and past midnight. Montreal's CMD, playing live, and Sante Fe's Experimental Housewife are atop this part of the bill. The sessions will also feature sets from a resident-heavy group of DJs, including Rudy Kardos and Sean Thomas, and a couple more live acts.
Fitz's rizumu appearance will serve as the final stop for her US tour, which starts this weekend, and runs through Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Santa Fe, Detroit and Brooklyn on the way to Philly. Check out her RA podcast below.
Tickets to the LA and Brooklyn parties are available on RA.
