The Range plots out North American tour

- The Brooklyn producer, who just released the Potential LP on Domino, will play 17 dates over the next few months.
- The Range will tour the states and Canada following the release of his latest album. The Brooklyn producer born James Hinton's has earned a following for his gauzy, melodic and slightly weird take on dance music. RA's Andrew Ryce said his first record for indie mainstay Domino, Potential, "is largely a wonderful collection of uplifting and humble electronic pop." He'll kick off the album tour in LA on May 4th at the Bootleg Theater, before heading up and down the coastal and mountain states, traveling to San Francisco, Vancouver, Seattle, Salt Lake City and Denver. On the 13th, he'll make a return appearance to Arizona's Form Arcosanti festival, an application-based free event which happens on the site of a utopian community. Hinton then moves on through the south with a couple of Texas gigs, a New Orleans show at Hi-Ho Lounge and an Atlanta engagement, before hitting Durham, North Carolina's gargantuan Moogfest on May 19th. He'll wrap up with an East Coast leg which includes Washington DC, Philadelphia, Boston, Montreal and Toronto. All dates excluding festivals are co-headlined by Atlanta rapper Rome Fortune.
