Six people have died at Time Warp Argentina in Buenos Aires.
Originally reported by the BBC Saturday, the death toll has since risen to six, according to the Buenos Aires Herald. All six deaths, and four critical hospitalizations, are suspected to from drug overdoses, and the Coast Guard and the Unit Against Drug-Trafficking are currently investigating.
There were also reports from attendees of overcrowding and poor ventilation, with one stating "it was too hot and there were too many people," and another adding "we couldn't breathe."
The second night of the festival, meant to take place Saturday evening, was cancelled. This was the third time that Time Warp, a prominent German techno festival since the '90s, had taken place in Buenos Aires.
