The "no-frills loft space" will be open from April 15th to 30th, with events put on by a few different house and techno crews.
The pop-up club 3001: Odyssey will open for three weekends in Bushwick starting April 15th.
The temporary dance spot is organized by Brooklyn party crew Rinsed, and their bookings tend towards local DJs and collectives rather than out-of-town headliners. "It's not a venue to hear massive over-hyped celebrity DJs," their mission statement says, "We're committed to making it cheap as fuck every single night, because no on else is doing it—and we think everyone should be able to dance."
It's an indoor-outdoor rooftop space with a custom-built sound system and views of the waterfront. They've got a few different crews signed on to throw parties, including GlitterballNYC, Night People Records, The Carry Nation (headed up by Nita Aviance), Safer At Night and Party Line. See below for the full list of events.
