- The industrial duo are back with their first music since 2008.
Terence Fixmer and Douglas J McCarthy are working together again.
Fixmer is a French techno producer whose work has long held a flame for early industrial music and EBM. McCarthy, meanwhile, is the longtime vocalist for British group Nitzer Ebb, who are considered one of the foundational EBM acts. Their partnership first came about when Fixmer was asked to remix a Nitzer Ebb classic, which led to a collaboration with McCarthy himself.
The duo released two albums and a handful of 12-inches, the last of which came out in 2008. Now they're back with "So Many Lies," an EP that offers two versions of its title track, a cut the label describes as "quintessential brooding techno... dispatching the cold steel aggression of EBM."
