  • A new residency called Battle Hymn will take over Sundays at Flash Factory, starting this weekend. The new night comes courtesy of local promoter Ladyfag, the mind behind New York night Club SHADE. Battle Hymn is described as "a post-Tea 9 PM start with disco and classic house early to soothe your soul, and moving forth with house and tech house beats [to] bring you to salvation." Residents for the weekly party are Honey Dijon and The Carry Nation, AKA Will Automagic & Nita Aviance, who run their own event series of the same name. You can listen to one of their recent mixes below. Battle Hymn launches this Sunday with the Carry Nation and Todd Terry. The rest of the lineup for April includes Kim Ann Foxman, Honey Soundsystem and Eli Escobar, among others. Flash Factory is one of the newer additions to the Manhattan club scene after opening in January.
