The pair's collaborative performance will kick off an event series hosted by Electropark in the Italian city.
Genoa festival Electropark will host a series of monthly concerts in Milan, starting April 6th.
Taking place every first Wednesday of the month, the shows will be part of a project called Electropark Exchanges—a three-year programme combining live shows and educational workshops at the city's Teatro Franco Parenti. First up are French Berlin-based producer Kangding Ray and Mogwai’s multi-instrumentalist Barry Burns, who will perform together as SUMS on April 6th. Electronic music pioneer Roedelius will follow on May 4th, playing piano and synthesizers with music collaborator Stefan Schneider. The last show sees Christian Prommer and Bugge Wesseltoft blending their jazz influences into electronic improvisations on June 1st.
