Another anti-lockouts protest will be held in the city this Saturday, March 19th.
A protest against Sydney's lockout laws will be held on March 19th under the Reclaim The Streets banner.
The rally comes less than a month after 15,000 people marched to Keep Sydney Open as public debate around the controversial licensing legislation continues to flare up. It will also be the third RTS protest in six months, with September's edition resulting in the then-largest anti-lockouts mobilisation since the laws were introduced.
This time around, around two dozen mobile sound systems and over 100 DJs will soundtrack the 'protest festival' as it begins at 3 PM outside Sydney Town Hall and makes its way down to The Star casino in Pyrmont. Mr. Ties, Stereogamous, Andy Garvey and Nite Fleit are among the multitude of acts performing on the day.
Sydney's lockout laws are currently under government review. Head to the Keep Sydney Open website for more information on the anti-lockouts campaign.
