- The Canadian DJ has also announced a fresh string of Jackathon parties across Europe and the UK.
Heidi will revive her Jackathon Jams label next month, starting with a collaborative EP from DJ T. & Emanuel Satie.
The label kicked off in 2012, set up off the back of the success of Heidi's Jackathon parties, mix CD and BBC Radio 1 show. "I get sent so much music because of my radio show, I thought it's time to let the new crew come through," she told RA. Jackathon Jams put out music from Maya Jane Coles, Jimmy Edgar and Derrick Carter among others, before releases ground to a halt in summer 2014.
This new EP will pull together three cuts: two originals from DJ T and Satie, plus a Kill Frenzy remix of "Break Loose." That one drops on April 1st, with more records coming later in the spring.
Heidi has also announced a fresh batch of Jackathon events, taking her across Europe and the UK. There are five planned in total, starting in London on Saturday, April 9th with a joint party alongside Hot Since 82, followed by dates at Berlin club Watergate (April 22nd), Newcastle gig Shindig (May 1st) and Barcelona venue Razzmatazz (June 16th). The last of these will take place at Hideout Festival in Croatia, with Catz 'N Dogz and Jasper James joining Heidi at a pool party on Wednesday, June 29th.
Tickets to select Jackathon events are available Heidi>here on RA.
