  • Nicolas Jaar will join the lineup of Manana Festival in Cuba this May. The new, nonprofit festival was first announced last year as a Kickstarter, and in the time since they've announced artists like A Guy Called Gerald, Gifted & Blessed, Plaid and Adrian Sherwood. Manana will unfold over a few days in Santiago de Cuba, the country's second-largest city, with the goal of promoting electronic music in Cuba while preserving its Afro-Cuban musical heritage. Manana has also announced a new travel package for US citizens, allowing them to travel to Cuba legally (via Miami) for an eight-day stay at the festival. For more information on that, check the festival's website. They've also released a Cuban MIDI pack which you can grab here. Check out the trailer for Manana below.
