  • DJ Spider will make his debut on BleeD in April with Burning Museums. The UK label was established last year as a counterpart to the long-running London promoter, which focuses on the darker side of techno. So far, all three releases have involved founder Volte-Face—two solo EPs as well as a record from Rote, his collaboration with Daniel Avery. New Jersey's DJ Spider marks the first time an outsider has appeared on the imprint. Spider runs his own labels, Sublevel and Plan B Recordings, which are known for their raw (and often rough) take on house and techno. The label says Burning Museums is meant to "represent the loss of knowledge of mankind by the modern scientists who are destroying ancient texts in their attempt to erase history." It features four new originals along with a remix from Volte-Face.
