- Licensing police have reportedly given the club, which holds a 24-hour license, a curfew on music.
Sydney venue SLYFOX have reportedly been told that "amplified music" must cease at 3 AM.
Local mainstay Mark Dynamix posted the news today, indicating that licensing police had contacted the longstanding Enmore establishment last night to advise them of the new restrictions. SLYFOX has a 24-hour liquor license and sits well outside Sydney's inner-city lockout zone, an area where establishments must stop serving alcohol after 3 AM. The venue was renovated and relaunched last year and has since hosted weekly late-night dance events, making it one of Sydney's only remaining clubbing options after 3 AM. Dynamix indicated that, while they have been given a curfew for "amplified music", they are still able to serve drinks past this time.
An anti-lockouts rally under the Keep Sydney Open banner will take place this Sunday, February 21st, at Belmore Park from 12:30 PM.
