- A new batch of names have been added to the lineup of the first Strange Sounds From Beyond festival in Amsterdam. Announced in January, the daylong event is a collaboration between Outsiders, Red Light Radio and The Rest Is Noise. Each outfit will host their own stage at Noorderlicht on Sunday, June 26th, drawing upon a pool of leftfield dance music acts to provide the soundtrack. More than ten names join the bill in the latest announcement, which includes DJs like Awesome Tapes From Africa, Intergalactic Gary, Tako, Traxx, Vakula and Clara 3000, along with live acts Legowelt, Aurora Halal, Omar Souleyman and Tolouse Low Trax. Previously confirmed names includes Gilles Peterson, Acid Arab, Antal and Young Marco.
