Tied brings Finest Hour and Francis Harris to Chicago

- The Windy City crew has lined up its next two underground events, one this weekend and the other in March.
- Chicago collective Tied has two parties on the calendar over the next month and a half. Tied, who turned three (and launched a label) late last year, will first host a secretly-located showcase of the Berlin-based vinyl imprint Finest Hour this Saturday. Finest Hour co-founder Onirik and affiliate Robin Ordell, whose FH:04 EP was released last fall, will fly in for the occasion. Local support will come from resident Max Jacobson. On Saturday, March 19th, at another secret spot, Tied will welcome Scissor & Thread man Francis Harris, who back in November teamed up with Gabe Hedrick for a collaborative LP as Aris Kindt. Harris has been recruited for an all-night set at this one, his first Chicago gig since 2013. Tied's resident trio of Jacobson, Mantas Steles and Ari Frank will also hit Brooklyn next Friday for a night in Verboten's Cabaret Lounge. Joining them on the lineup is Verboten resident Hernan Sanchez, a Chicagoan and Tied friend now living in New York.
