The crew has announced its bookings heading into the spring.
Honey Soundsystem has announced its schedule leading up to March.
The DJ crew, comprising Jackie House, Josh Cheon, Jason Kendig and Robot Hustle, is coming off its biggest year ever. 2015 included a residency at Chicago's Smart Bar, a Panorama Bar takeover and constant gigging around the US and Europe. All four members recently spoke with RA as part of our Exchange podcast series.
As of late, the crew splits up to handle various DJ gigs, with Kendig having relocated to Chicago from the collective's native San Francisco. They'll start things off on the 22nd, where Honey's booked for a gig at TV Lounge in Detroit. The following night has them appearing at Denver's Deep Club party. (The 23rd also sees a San Francisco release show for Bill Converse's debut LP, out on Cheon's Dark Entries label.) They'll round out January with a gigs in Houston and at Miami. February has them spinning two separate cities on the 13th. They're in LA at the massive art book fair and at D.C.'s U Street Music Hall.
In their hometown, Honey's also booked monthly parties at Mighty. As previously reported, Prosumer and Young Marco will team up at Honey's Martin Luther King day party. All four residents will spin on Valentine's Day. On March 18th, Tel Aviv duo Red Axes headlines.
