  • Moog has revealed Mother-32, its new semi-modular synthesizer. The machine arrives as "small-format" eurorack modular synthesis experiences a boom in popularity. The Mother-32 model, which features a voltage controlled 32-step sequencer with 64 sequence locations, requires no traditional patching. The Mother-32's other assets include lowpass and highpass ladder filters, dual voltage-controlled mixers, an oscillator with dual outputs, wide-range LFO, MIDI to CV conversion, a modular patchbay with 32 patch-points and an assignable CV jack with 16 assignable sources. Moog says the main module can easily be integrated into a Eurorack skiff or case, while the machine can also act as a plug-and-play solution for new Eurorack users. The manufacturer worked with Max Ravitz (AKA Patricia) and Interdimensional Transmissions mainstay Erika during the prototype phase. Watch a video of those producers putting the Mother-32 through its paces below.
Moog's Mother-32 is available now for a suggested retail price of $679.00.
