  • MoMA PS1 has shared highlights of its upcoming Sunday Sessions schedule. The long-running interdisciplinary event series takes place every Sunday afternoon in the museum's geodesic dome space in Long Island City, Queens. With a program that includes performance, film, music, dance and artist talks, its mission is to "embrace live arts as an integral aspect of contemporary performance and ask how these different art forms produce specific ways of thinking." The coming season kicks off with the North American live debut of Australian beatmaker Ta-ku on October 25th, presenting his new album Songs to Make Up To alongside guest vocalists. Additional live sets will come courtesy of Charles Murdoch, Basenji, plus more artists TBA. On November 22nd, MoMA PS1 will host the US debut of a new collaboration between Florian Hecker and Mark Leckey titled Hecker Leckey Sound Voice Chimera as part of a daylong program organized by PAN boss Bill Kouligas. The lineup also features James Hoff, who's collaborating with Norwegian artist TCF for a performance that tracks the "hidden traffic of cell phone signals, radio waves, wifi signals and electromagnetic fields," while M.E.S.H. and Aleksandra Domanovic round out the bill.
