This years DanceStar USA Awards held at the Miami Winter Music Conference last week supplied a handful of surprises. Dirty Vegas, scooped the night by taking home three awards which included Best Use Of Music In A Commercial for the Mitsubishi AD, Best Video for Days Go By and the prestigious Record Of The Year award.
Sandra Collins beat Danny Tenaglia, Christopher Lawrence, Derrick Carter, Josk Wink and more to take the Best DJ (US Only) Award. DJ Tiesto once again topped the Polls taking the Best International DJ Title. Other winners on the night include Paul Oakenfold who won Best Album with ‘Bunkka’, Moby with the Best Act (US Artists) and DJ Colette who won Best Breakthrough DJ over Dieselboy, Saeed and Palash, Robbie Rivera and others.
