Headless Horseman debuts in LA

- Traveling promoter Dirty Epic will celebrate its third anniversary with a strong techno lineup in October.
- Dirty Epic will throw its third birthday at an undisclosed location in LA on October 3rd. The crew has put on parties in New York, Denver, Detroit and LA, and the October event marks their return to Southern California following a December 2014 party with Carlos Souffront and Rrose. Dirty Epic's third anniversary will be an intimate, limited-to-200 affair headlined by the mysterious techno producer Headless Horseman. The anonymous artist has released six 12-inches on his own label over the past few years, and is ramping up to the release of his debut LP. He'll be playing for the first time in LA, as will Chicago underground techno veteran Karl Meier. Meier is one-half of Downwards' act Talker and released a well-received 2008 12-inch on Sandwell District as part of Kalon. LA resident Israel Vines rounds out the bill.
