A new event series called Set & Setting is set to kick off this Saturday in Houston.
The party is a collaboration between Mike Cherches (AKA DJ Mishka), Abdul Abdin and Felix Zamikovsky, with each edition taking place (as the name suggests) in a different setting. Act 1 Scene 1 will set up in a loft space at 505 Main Street, above a downtown night club, and headlining honors go to stateside underground stalwart DJ Three. Long-time local Henry Chow, one of the minds behind the Crossroads parties, and the duo Porcelain Monkeys round out the night's lineup.
Set & Setting have also revealed early details for their next move—an open-air event just east of downtown on Saturday, October 10th. More information on that one is still TBA.
