- The London techno label is readying records from P.E.A.R.L. and Alderaan, with remixes coming from the likes of Francois X and Stanislav Tolkachev.
London techno label Weekend Circuit has revealed details for its upcoming release schedule.
Launched two years ago, Weekend Circuit has so far issued EPs from a collection of underground producers like Dax J, Developer and Antonio De Angelis. Earlier in 2015, the label put out a two-part compilation, Ground-Fault-Interrupt Vol. 1, which featured contributions from Sleeparchive and two others who've now been recruited for their own records: P.E.A.R.L., a Spain-born, Berlin-based artist also known as half of Agony Forces and half of PMH (a collaboration with Tresor resident Marcel Heese), and a lesser-known quantity in Buenos Aires producer Alderaan.
P.E.A.R.L.'s Desolation EP will arrive in early September. Two of its three tracks also form the basis of a record of remixes from Parisian DJ and DEMENT3D co-founder Francois X, Spanish producer Reeko, Berlin duo I/Y and Amsterdam's Jeff Rushin that's due to land in October. November will see the release of Statics / Golden Ratio from Alderaan, which also packs remixes from Ukrainian ace Stanislav Tolkachev and Finnish DJ and Deep Space Helsinki man Samuli Kemppi. Each EP will come on vinyl and digital formats.
