Worldwide Festival has released the final lineup for its 2015 Sète edition, taking place from July 6th through 12th.
A new wave of acts has been announced for the tenth anniversary of the festival, which will run for seven days in French coastal town Sète. Following previously announced acts like James Blake, Seven Davis Jr., Laurent Garnier and DJ Harvey, the latest additions include live performances from Roy Ayers, Brazilian artist Ed Motta, Stereolab singer Laetitia Sadier, North London rapper Little Simz and Tirzah. Matthew Herbert, who recently released his first dance record in almost a decade, will take the stage accompanied by a band of 10 musicians. The festival will also showcase a few Japanese artists, such as Tokyo-based producer Daisuke Tanabe, on Wednesday, July 8th.
Throwing Shade will join Young Marco for a free daytime event at the city's contemporary art space on the 7th, while a strong cast of diggers including Floating Points, Hunee, Leon Vynehall, Benji B, Osunlade and Simbad will take care of the beach stage for the week. Louie Vega, FunkinEven and Oneman have also been confirmed for night slots. Festival founder Gilles Peterson will open the festival with a back-to-back set with Lefto on Monday, July 6th. He'll also DJ on the final day, July 12th, at both an afternoon beach party and a nighttime event.
