Traxx will touch down in Mexico City for a night at Rioma Club on Saturday, July 4th.
The Chicago DJ and producer, real name Melvin Oliphant III, is a champion of Jakbeat, a gritty, left-field style of dance music touching on techno, electro, EBM and acid. He's gearing up for the release of a massive seven-disc box set via his own label Nation, featuring cuts from D'Marc Cantu, Tadd Mullinix and Specter, to name a few. Meanwhile, he keeps up a steady schedule of DJ gigs, with the party on the 4th marking his first appearance in Mexico. Dance Your Name is hosting the night, and their team of residents will handle warm-up duties.
