  • Ekman will head to the US for gigs in Philadelphia, San Francisco and New York starting May 29th. Born Roel Dijcks, the producer's noisy electro sound and association with Bunker-affiliated Panzerkreuz have led some critics and fans to position Ekman as a new torchbearer for the "West Coast Sound of Holland," originated by producers like this week's RA podcaster I-F. Dijcks also contributed the first release on Berceuse Heroique, a label he maintains close ties with. He'll begin the trip next Friday at the Rizumu afterhours in Philadelphia. He'll spin alongside cult dub techno figure Exos as well as Great Circles artist Westov Temple at the late night party. The next week at Sure Thing, he's on with L.I.E.S. guy Svengalisghost and Aaron "FIT" Siegel. He'll wrap up the trip on Saturday, June 6th at an undisclosed Brooklyn location. Svengalisghost is on that lineup as well, as are a number of NYC staples like Alex From Queens and Scallywag. Stream Ekman's "No Man Is An Island," a free download for Berceuse Heroique, below.
Tickets to the San Francisco and Brooklyn shows are available on RA.
