The New York producer will hit the West Coast and Mid-Atlantic regions in May.
Patricia will take his live set on the road this May, beginning at the Surface Tension party in San Francisco on May 8th.
The Chicago-bred hardware enthusiast, actually a male producer named Max Ravitz, emerged a couple of years ago with Body Issues, a cassette for Opal Tapes which would later serve as the first release on that label's Black Opal vinyl offshoot. Ravitz has also plied his hypnagogic take on house and techno for EPs on Ghostly and L.I.E.S.
In San Francisco, Patricia will be joined by Downwards live duo Talker, with that group's Karl Meier also booked for a DJ set. On Saturday, May 9th, the new Fine Time party has Ravitz playing alongside 1080p affiliate Project Pablo. The following weekend, he'll head down the East Coast with Future Times duo Protect-U. The D.C.-based band, who released their debut LP Free USA via Max D's label last year, will host a hometown show at Union Arts on the 15th. Following the D.C. appearance Patricia and Protect-U will lug their vintage drum machines to gigs in Chapel Hill and Richmond.
