  • Gant-Man will headline parties in Portland and Los Angeles beginning this Friday. Gant-Man's history with Chicago house, juke and footwork goes back nearly 30 years. He started spinning house and hip-hop on the cusp of the '90s at age ten. He would go on to release his Dance Mania debut, The Youngest Professional D.J., in 1995. More recently, his collaboration with the late DJ Rashad, "Heaven Sent," appeared on the second volume of Planet Mu's Bangs & Works compilation. This Friday, Gant will play for Massacooramaan and DJ Rafael's Ecstasy night, a party that has hosted Chicago legends like Robert Armani and DJ Deeon at Holocene over the past year. On the 11th, he'll play RUN in Chinatown, LA, alongside Color Plus, whose odd take on Grime came to light via the Mångata Sequence EP, released by the London imprint Terrorhythm last year. Check out Gant-Man's mix for the NTS Roll Through program below.
