  • The Ascetic House collective has announced the third installment in their Threshold series, taking place March 7th at Jewel's Catch One. With Threshold, the Tempe, AZ collective explores the outer reaches of noise and techno, having booked Vessel, Container and Silent Servant for previous installments. Several members of the crew will act as support on the 7th. De facto leader J.S. Aurelius and Tempe house producer Jock Club are set to open and close the night with DJ sets. Skander, the SF producer who opened Tenderloin vinyl outlet RS94109 last year, will perform live. His former co-worker, L.I.E.S. affiliate Oliver Vereker, will travel from New York to join the bill. Intimidatingly named live acts Negation, Chainfight, Granite Mask and Deep Pill round out the lineup. Vereker recently released Skander's Steel Talon on his Endangered Species label. Check out "Death By Handgun" off the new EP below.
