  • Details have emerged for a collection of remixes that will accompany John Carpenter's upcoming album Lost Themes. The legendary director and soundtrack composer caused a stir with last month's announcement of Lost Themes, his very first non-soundtrack album. It's scheduled for release on Sacred Bones Records in February of next year, and the digital version is now set to feature six remixes from a cross-section of experimentally-inclined talent. Silent Servant is on board, as is Bill Kouligas, whose label PAN earned another spot on our annual top labels list this year, and the collaboration of Zola Jesus (who made her debut on Mute a couple months ago with her latest LP Taiga) and Dean Hurley. ohGr (AKA Skinny Puppy's Nivek Ogre and Mark Walk), JG Thirlwell and Blanck Mass (the alias of Fuck Buttons' Benjamin John Power) complete the group. Tracklist 01. Vortex 02. Obsidian 03. Fallen 04. Domain 05. Mystery 06. Abyss 07. Wraith 08. Purgatory 09. Night 10. Night (Zola Jesus & Dean Hurley remix) 11. Wraith (ohGr remix) 12. Vortex (Silent Servant Remix) 13. Fallen (Blanck Mass Remix) 14. Abyss (JG Thirlwell Remix) 15. Fallen (Bill Kouligas Remix) Sacred Bones will release Lost Themes on February 3rd, 2015.
