The Mexico City spot has a two-night celebration planned for this weekend.
Mexico City's Rioma Club will mark 15 years of operation with two parties this weekend.
Situated in the city's chic Condesa neighborhood, Rioma has long since established itself as a house and techno hotspot—guests in recent months have included Thugfucker, Daniel Maloso and Alex Niggemann. The club will celebrate a decade-and-a-half on the scene with two events hosted vt Sincerely Yours and also serving as anniversaries for two local crews, Antena Transmite (ten years) and Thirteen Moons Recordings (which will turn four).
Friday's party will feature sets from Kompakt stalwart John Tejada, whose next album Signs Under Test is due out in February, and Barcelona-based Mexican ex-pat Miguel Puente. Gog, Nobody Knows and Lazy Dub will handle local support. Then on Saturday, Dutch favorite Patrice Bäumel will headline and another squad of Mexico City selectors, including Leo Figuer and Lina Molina, will be on hand.
