The vocalist will be accompanied by RocketNumberNine for nine dates next year.
Neneh Cherry and RocketNumberNine will head to Australia and New Zealand next February and March.
It's been a landmark year for the Swedish-born vocalist who unveiled Blank Project, her first solo LP in nearly two decades, back in February. The record was produced by Four Tet and released by Smalltown Supersound, with live jazz and electronica duo RocketNumberNine contributing.
Cherry and the sibling band will begin their tour of the region with Perth Festival shows on February 28th and March 1st, then they'll cross the Tasman to play at James Cabaret in Wellington on the 3rd and Auckland Arts Festival on the 4th. Back in Melbourne there will be a gig on March 6th at The Arts Centre—then it's off to Golden Plains 2015 at the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre in Victoria which runs from March 7th through 9th. Another two dates are included for Womadelaide at the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide on the 8th and 9th, before the tour wraps up at the Sydney Opera House on March 11th.
