  • Max Cooper has announced a four-night run of shows through North America for early next month. This year has seen Cooper put out his debut album, Human, along with two Inhuman remixes records on Fields. Recently he worked with a few jazz musicians, resulting in a four-track EP called Tileyard Improvisations Vol. 1. Meanwhile, he's stayed busy with plenty of touring. He'll stick to the eastern side of North America for his next visit to the continent, first bringing his immersive, melodic brand of techno to Boston's Middlesex Lounge for a Make It New night on Thursday, December 4th. Over the next three evenings he'll hit Washington DC's U Street Music Hall, SAT in Montreal and lastly Verboten in Brooklyn on Sunday the 7th. Cooper has posted a full stream of "Dusk Mass," an airy free-jazz soundscape taken from that collaborative Tileyard Improvisations release which features Quentin Collins on trumpet and Kathrin DeBoer on vocals (the latter has previously appeared on a few of Cooper's tracks). You can give it a listen below.
