The disco label will shelve its monthly party to focus on putting out records.
New York's Discovery label will host its final monthly party at Glasslands on October 3rd.
"The label will still be going strong, and look out for special events from time to time," the Discovery crew explained in a statement on Facebook earlier this week. For their fifth-anniversary blowout on October 3rd, the disco-centric imprint will host Jason Kendig, of San Francisco's Honey Soundsystem, and Michael Serafini, owner of Chicago's Gramophone record store and resident at Smart Bar. Discovery residents Free Magic and Faso will also spin. The label arm of Discovery has records in the pipeline from Free Magic and Catamaran.
Tickets for the event are available on RA.
