Clone will soon reissue Roy Davis Jr.'s 1995 12-inch Roy's Chicago Basement Traxx on its Jack For Daze sublabel.
Roy's Chicago Basement Traxx originally dropped as a four-track EP on Kumba Records, a label co-founded by Oscar Gaetan of seminal US house duo Murk. Clone has just picked up three tracks for the reissue. They range from the dense proto-Chicago sound of "Chemical Warfare" to the more stripped-back "Broken Machines" and "Jack Da Rhythms."
