- The head of the Hamburg label and record store's Paris contingent will release his first solo EP in September.
Jacques Bon has an EP called Two Hearts on the way for Smallville Records in September.
It's the Paris-based producer's first solo release, though he's not exactly unknown within his corner of house music. In addition to releasing the track "Tribute To You" on Smallville's Thirtyfive Ways compilation and collaborating with Christopher Rau and Nicolas Villebrun on Aim, he runs the Hamburg-based label and record shop's Paris operation. "Jacques Bon connects knowledge with freedom and technology and creates a masterpiece of interstellar funk," is how the press release describes the approach on Two Hearts; you can get a taste for the EP's sound yourself via the player we've embedded below.
