- A series of collaborative records with other labels—M>O>S, Berceuse Heroique and L.I.E.S.—is in the works.
Dutch institution Crème Organization has revealed plans for a series of cross-label collaborations called Valley Of Shadows.
Valley Of Shadows will see Crème team up with some of the label's other favorite imprints, which will handle track and artwork selection for each individual release. For now, plans are for the series to be vinyl-only. Crème boss DJ TLR explained the motivation behind the project in an email to RA: "We feel there is too much damn fragmentation out there in the field and at times it seems like it's every man for themselves. So it's time to stick some of the true heads together and show them what we're made of."
The first three releases in the series have already been confirmed. First up, Crème will connect with M>O>S Recordings for a two-tracker from 2AMFM (the duo of JTC and D'Marc Cantu), and the next record, with London label Berceuse Heroique, will feature Scientific Dreamz Of U and Drvg Cvltvre. Both of those look to drop in September.
After that will be a various artists mini-LP done with L.I.E.S., which is due to come out in October during ADE 2014. Further details for that one will announced in the coming months.
