- A flurry of afterparties will go down in Manchester after the main festival this June.
The Parklife Weekender has revealed details of official afterparties taking place on June 8th and 9th.
The afterparties will happen in and around Manchester after the main festival wraps up on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday the 8th sees Sankeys, Albert Hall, Sound Control, Venus, Gorilla and 1 Primrose Street hosting events, which are being held in collaboration with local promoters. Highlights include Hot Creations artists Jamie Jones, Lee Foss and Richy Ahmed at Albert Hall, Eats Everything and Catz 'N Dogz at Sankeys, Breach at Venus and Ben UFO back-to-back with Midland at 1 Primrose Street.
Another six events will go down on Sunday the 9th, including a Crosstown Rebels Rebel Rave with Damian Lazarus, Art Department and Dixon, Scuba at Sound Control, David Rodigan at Ruby Lounge, and Oneman and Ryan Hemsworth at Deaf Institute. The Warehouse Project, which is on hiatus in 2014, will also host an event at The Ritz, though the lineup for that one is yet to be announced.
This year's Parklife Weekender will take place in Heaton Park, with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Moderat and Disclosure on the bill.
