- The Italian synth-head will release his third album through Bear Funk next month.
Bottin has revealed details of his new album, Punica Fides, due out in May.
For what will be his third LP, and his first since 2009's Horror Disco, the Venice-based producer returns to London disco imprint Bear Funk. Unlike his previous efforts, the new project will be "explicitly geared towards the dance floor," according to the press release, mapping Bottin's spacious, synth-heavy approach to a persistent four-to-the-floor pulse. Drawing on elements of cosmic house, Italo, disco and funk, the album marks Bottin's exploration into more pop-friendly climes. Punica Fides features vocal cameos from New Romantic luminary Steve Strange (Visage), singer-songwriter Lavinia Claws and long-time collaborator Rodion.
